This is an impressive all-purpose chef's knife for the price. The cutting edge is sharp and reliable, and the length is good for a variety of cutting tasks. I've sliced everything from garlic to squashes with this. The handle is plastic and feels a little cheap at first, but I've come to appreciate its lightness and the slightly textured surface gives it a secure grip.The coating on the blade should give it some protection from rust. I've noticed that it will occasionally stick when embedded in ingredients, maybe a little more than bare metal, but it's not a big issue.It's supposedly dishwasher safe, but I've been handwashing it as I've never known a knife to stay sharp for long when getting dishwashed.Overall, it's a versatile and high quality chef's knife for the price.

The handle is sturdy, and I found it comfortable to hold.I was surprised at how lightweight this is for a large knife, but it works as it should.The knife feels expensive, and I like the black colour finish.Overall, a great knife that is very sharp.Recommended
