I ordered these because every time I cook fish I end up going to the garage for needle nose pliers to remove the pin bones. It's kind of gross using a tool from the garage on my food but I never got around to getting a separate tool. These tweezers are perfect. The design of them makes grabbing the bones much easier than with the pliers. They also don't lose their grip like pliers sometimes do. The tweezers are also small enough to store easily. I'm sure they would work just as well removing feathers that fresh poultry sometimes has. This should be a part of every kitchen!
This is a high-quality set of kitchen tweezers that will see a lot of use in my kitchen. The packaging was surprisingly nice - a sturdy, well-designed box that felt premium. The tweezers themselves were tightly wrapped in plastic inside, which slightly undercut that high-end presentation, but that’s a minor detail.Once unboxed, the tweezers are excellent. The stainless steel has a clean, polished finish, and the wide gripping end is flat with very good traction. They work perfectly for removing fish bones and are equally useful for other kitchen tasks. Having a dedicated, food-safe stainless tool is convenient, easy to clean, and much better than reaching into a toolbox.My only small nitpick is that the edges where you hold the tweezers are a bit sharper than expected. It’s not enough to knock off a star, as the overall quality is still excellent, but slightly more rounded edges would improve comfort during extended use.If you don’t already own kitchen tweezers and eat seafood even occasionally, these are absolutely worth picking up. They’d make a great stocking stuffer and have already become a frequently used tool in my kitchen.
